Rachel is ready to give her fans a taste of her secret stache at the Musica on September 26th. The concert is a celebration of the first CD release from Rachel’s band, Rachel’s Secret Stache. The album is entitled “The Brown Bag” and features Rachel as the front woman of the retro rock ensemble.

Born in Akron, Rachel has been influenced deeply by the city’s rock-and-roll heritage. She has already been successful in her own right, releasing an album as a solo singer and song writer and touring with big name acts such as Chrissie Hynde, DEVO, The Black Keys, and Joseph Arthur.

Rachel’s music is unique and varied, her voice, conditioned through Opera pedigree, versatile and beautiful. Her influences range from Mozart to The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and these influences are present in each of her songs. Along with her work in Rachel’s Secret Stashe, she is finishing her second solo album “Lightning Loves the Kite”

The CD release party will take place at The Musica in Akron’s historic district and will feature Good Morning Valentine. Tickets are available at AkronMusica.com. To find out more about Rachel and listen to her music visit her site R2-Music.com.
