The Kaiser Building
The Kaiser Building, located on South Main Street near the Aero's stadium, is Castle Hall’s sister building. The same architect and builder who built Castle Hall six years earlier built the Kaiser Building in 1877 in a High-Victorian gothic style. It was originally built for the German-American Family Society as a housing facility for the immigrants who came to Akron to build the canals. The structure is currently in the process of being renovated into a living and working space where ballpark goers and University of Akron students can enjoy good food, drinks and music.
