Firestation No. 3

Situated amongst the St. Vincent - St. Mary church and high school's campus, Old No. 3 is an Italian Renaissance building that stands on the edge of a great neighborhood on the eastern boundary of Highland Square. With a strong framework and foundation, Old No. 3 only needed an infusion of new mechanicals to bring it back to life. The restored building, which once served the Akron community as a fire station, now houses Structura Architects as well as several multi-media companies. One of many upcoming projects designed to continue transforming the old fire station into a mixed-use commercial hub is opening a family-style Italian restaurant on the first level. Old No. 3 is a great example of the potential held within early 20th century structures.
